We are sitting at the NICU at Presby Plano.
Connor was delayed because before they could put him in the transport his lung saturation dropped to 70% on 100% oxygen.
They delayed to get an x-Ray. We have not heard the results.
The neo sat us down as soon as we got here.
She is very worried about him. She is checking to see if it is maybe a heart problem as well. He is getting a stat echocardiogram. They are worried about persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn. They are probably going to give him nitric oxide to help relax the blood vessels of the heart. Basically every bad scenario is on the table rIght now until we get the echo results. We wait hoping it's "just" a lung problem.
We sit and wait and cry and pray.
